A hydrogen-oxygen cutting machine uses water electrolysis to split water into H₂ and O₂. The gases pass through safety devices (e.g., wet anti-tempering unit, electronic flame arrester) before reaching a flame gun with a built-in arrester. Ignited by an igniter, they form a high-efficiency hydrogen-oxygen flame for rapid workpiece welding.

- Electrolyzer: A vessel that holds the electrolyte and completes the electrolysis reaction, usually made of corrosion-resistant materials (e.g., stainless steel, PVC).
